The projects supported by the CLIMIT Program are world class in many areas in CCS thanks to the project owners’ capabilities and commitment, and the government’s long-term support of CCS development. The projects have contributed to the realization of the Longship project and will contribute to the future development of full-scale CCS chains in Norway, Europe and the rest of the world.

Process industry and market development

This session is devided in 3 parts. The first will present feasiblity studies on CCS in industry clusters in different parts of Norway and Preem in Sweden, as well as give the lastest update on the strategy for energy intensive industry in Norway.
Part two of the session will focus on technology development starting with a brief presentation of how technology
development can pair with the commercialization process.
Part three will be dedicated to the development and way forward of the Norwegian CCS fullskale project “”LONGSHIP”””
